Grant Opportunity: Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country Grant Application due May 15
The purpose of this funding opportunity is to reduce rates of death and disability from commercial tobacco use, diabetes, heart disease and stroke, and reduce the prevalence of obesity and other chronic disease risk factors and conditions (e.g., oral health, dementia, COPD) in American Indian and Alaska Native communities. The long-term outcomes of this opportunity include increasing purchasing of healthy food, increasing physical activity with an emphasis on walking, increase breastfeeding, and reducing prevalence of commercial tobacco use.
